For years StickStar has been sought out for its ability to train and instruct players of all skill levels. StickStar Seminars have been a hub for development across the State and Region.
There are a variety of ways to train. Seminars allow for an immersive learning environment through Skills, Drills, and Reps during a concentrated period.
The Texas Lacrosse Academy powered by StickStar will be focused instruction on Technique and Mechanics. StickStar coaches have often been sought out for PRIVATE INSTRUCTION with great results, now we will offer this instruction in a class setting, driving down the cost to those who want a more personal NUANCED & SKILLED INSTRUCTION SETTING.
FOUNDATIONS CLASS: The Texas Lacrosse Academy will offer its 1st Foundational Classes, a Monday Evening Class, and a Tuesday Evening Class. Players will look to become PROFICIENT in the following Skill Groups.

Teaching players how to be proficient and confident in their OFF HAND is something StickStar has excelled in for years. In hours, players who have struggled with their off hands for years are equal to or more technically sound than they are with their dominant hand.
VALUE: Private Instruction can range from $50 to $75 to $100 per hour. Your player will be training at an State of the Art Indoor Facility, with High Level Instructors, with a Proven Methodology for $37.50 / hr.
CLASS TRACKING: After the initial FOUNDATIONS CLASSES Texas Lacrosse Academy players will be eligible for a variety of other learning opportunities. Players will have to progress through the various classes. The initial Foundations Classes will be available this March. 12 players per class. More Foundations Classes will be available this summer and the then Class Tracking will progress from there.
ADDED VALUE
1) All Players will be videoed at the 1st session.
2) All Players will receive homework.
3) All Players will need their Regular Stick & Weighted Training Stick.
4) All Players will be given a Proficiency Evaluation at the end of the Class.
