StickStar Immersion League FAQ

Dtx & Atx Registrations Now Open!


What is the Immersion League? The Immersion League is where lacrosse skills training intersects with the benefits of small-sided lacrosse play. 1 hour of intensive skills training. 1 hour of game play in a Box Style setting.


When is it? (6:00-8:00PM) Sunday Evenings - 8/25, 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/20, 10/27


Who is it for? Players in grades 5th-12th looking to consistently improve their skill sets and have fun playing 5 vs 5.




Where is it?

ATX - Anderson HS

DTX - SMU’s Crum Lacrosse Field and Sports Complex


Why Join?

· Proven Skills development for all levels of player regardless of position

· Learn. Improve. Have Fun. Compete.

· There must be a midway point for field and Box. Some players need to enjoy the style of play first ie. defensemen.

Basic Premise of Game Play

· Box Lacrosse without the boards

· 5 vs 5 + Goalie

· 4ft x 4ft Box Goals

· All Short Sticks

· Box Style of Play

o Play the ball when it’s on the ground

o Substitute on the fly like hockey

o Everyone plays offense.

o Everyone plays defense.
